At Sarai we're all about community. Expect small class sizes and personalized instruction where your teacher knows your name. Students often make friends before & after class.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS

Reserve your spot in class in advance. Classes often fill up and can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

We provide complimentary Jade yoga mats for all students. (You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer).

Please arrive 10 min before class to check in, meet your teacher, and get settled. We lock the door at the start of class and cannot accommodate late arrivals

If you bring your own reusable water bottle we'll happily fill it for you with filtered water

We have a changing room and a bathroom. Bring comfortable clothes you can move easily in (very baggy clothes may get in your way).

YOUR TEACHER IS HERE FOR YOU
All of our classes are open level expect for those marked "Inter/Adv" on the schedule. Open level means everyone is welcome. Your teacher will teach to the level of the students who show up and offer options throughout the class.
If you are brand new to yoga, please let your teacher know before class and set yourself up in the middle of the room so you can see and follow the other students.
Please also let your teacher know if you are pregnant or if you are experiencing any injuries. If you need any assistance during class or something doesn't feel right, feel free to flag us over! We're happy to help :)
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CLASS

Mats, blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters are all provided

During busier class times, mats will be laid out in advance

Our classes are designed to be physically challenging but also meditative. We offer nuanced cueing to help you embody the postures, while also emphasizing breath and mindfulness.

Expect to hold postures long enough to build strength, balance, and flexibility and to leave class feeling rejuvenated.
